Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Noah Lloyd Robson, operating the Alma service ("Alma," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Alma, you agree to these terms. If you use Alma for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to use the service for that organization.

Alma is an AI workspace for documents. It can help you read, draft, search, summarize, and edit documents, including Google Docs or Google Sheets that you choose to connect.

You are responsible for your account, devices, API keys, connected Google account, and activity under your account. Keep credentials secure and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Some features require third-party accounts or services, including Google, Stripe, AI model providers, hosting providers, or email providers. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

You keep ownership of documents, prompts, messages, files, and other content you provide or connect to Alma. You give Alma permission to process that content as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and to complete actions you request.

You are responsible for making sure you have the rights and permissions needed to use, connect, edit, or share content through Alma.

Alma can send your instructions and relevant document content to AI providers when you ask an agent to work with that content. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it or applying it to documents.

Do not use Alma as a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, security, or other regulated advice.

You agree not to misuse Alma, including by:

• Breaking the law or infringing anyone's rights.
• Uploading or sharing content you do not have permission to use.
• Trying to access accounts, data, systems, or documents without authorization.
• Interfering with the service or bypassing security, rate limits, or access controls.
• Using Alma to distribute malware, spam, deceptive content, or harmful instructions.

Some Alma features may require payment. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and cancellation options are shown at checkout or in the app. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, such as Stripe.

Unless required by law or stated at checkout, fees are non-refundable. You can stop using paid features by canceling before the next renewal date.

Alma may change, add, or remove features over time. We may suspend or limit access if needed to protect the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address security or operational issues.

Alma is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Alma and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Alma's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid to use Alma in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or 100 USD if you paid nothing.

You may stop using Alma at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if we stop offering the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of Alma after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
